internship #6

1. Learn about this person's life through their stories, experiences and the decisions they made along the way.

2. Begin to understand the path(s) that can lead to personal and professional "success."

3. Establish and deepen a professional and intellectual relationship.

After interviewing my mentor I hope to gain a knowlegde as to why she decided to choose the type of work she does currently, and what inspired her.
Somethings that really intrest me are the knowing that a word like "retard(ed)" can make her go off on a tangent that can educated the person who choose that word she has 'replacement' words that fully describe the students she teach and that does not limit there ablities.
Something I would like to get out of the interview are words that people can use to being to describe someone with autism, asbergers, or anyother learning disablity.
