Project title: Sweetheart Dance


Project description: The Sweetheart Dance are one of the many dances that SEEDS education holds every year. The dances are really controlled environments for the students to practice the social 'norms' they have learned. Our job is to make this dance as stress free for our mentor as possible. We will be making phone calls and sending e-mails to several other organizations and business to ask for their help to make this dance as successful as possible. We will be asking them to help us obtain prizes and materials such as paper plates, decorations, table cloths, etc. We will also be setting up for the dance and really just trying to make sure everything from the raffle to the activities go as smoothly as possible.


Project schedule: While there is not a fully developed schedule what will happen is we will first be contacting people in between the other things our mentor will have us doing during internship. The weeks in February we will be collecting all the donations and the day of the dance, February 19, 2010, we will be setting up for the dance and working during the dance.


Materials & Equipment needed: N/A.


Project documentation: Throughout this process we will be recording every thing we do at the internship. We will have video of the lessons taught in the classes that our internship will be using for review. We will record the dance as well and take pictures.
